I've stumbled on a bunch of blocks when I was struggling with my own weight. I've thought of quitting so many times, get back to my old routine. It's hard to keep moving forward when you see no significant result or one bad day can make you go in another direction. I get it because I've done it multiple times! And I'd blame myself for not having enough willpower, lack of self-control, and self-sabotaging all the time. It's a vicious cycle that I thought I'll never get out of.
What I didn't know then is that things take time. Weight loss takes time, but more importantly, it's not about the numbers. It's about accepting myself as who I am. When I realize that, my journey accelerated. Not that I was losing weight rapidly, but I was more confident in myself and love myself a little more.
