Miho's Easy Japanese Kitchen: Daikon Radish and Apple Salad
Daikon Radish is a
Daikon Radish and Apple Salad:
1/3 Daikon Radish
1 Gala Apple
2 Tbsp Red Wine vinegar
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pinch of salt and pepper
1. Thinly cut (julienne) daikon radish, apple, and carrot.
2. In a medium bowl, toss julienned daikon radish with a pinch of salt. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
3. In another bowl, combine ingredients for the dressing. Toss all the vegetables into the bowl and mix well.
4. Serve chilled.
